I really enjoy the MacKenzie novels by Ashley. The more I read, the more I like the depth of the characters she has created.
This one was particularly good, considering her choice to depict a hero with autism, or Asperger's Syndrome. I'm not sure how realistic the depiction is, but it makes for a most compelling story.
I found the story did get a little long, the mystery gets a little dragged out, but the characters and the wish for the hero to connect kept me intrigued until the end...and interested in reading the rest of the series!
