Jessica Brody does an amazing job of bringing out all the insecurities and problems that teens face. "Baby Brooklyn" or Brooks has a really strong and humorous voice. The premise hinges on her bad decision-making skills. And oh boy, is she not wrong about how bad they are. But I really sympathized with her, even during the moments I wanted to shake some sense into her. I like how flawed Jessica Brody's characters are. The growth they go through makes a lot of sense, and as a reader, I cheer for them as they go through it, even when they stumble and fall. This is my second read by Jessica Brody, and so far, she is on a roll. I love her books, and highly recommend them.
