This book is heart breaking, but even more so, breathtaking and beautiful! As Corrie perseveres through a German prison camp with God's strength, it oh so encouraging that Christians can believe in God's sovereignty. Our lives here on earth are terrible, whether in a German prison camp, or in a grueling math test. And it's only going to get worse. But Christians get to have another life. A life without death, sickness, poverty, or sin. And this belief is what got Corrie through prison camp. She knew that even if she died there, she would have a better life in eternity forever with her Savior, Jesus Christ, and other fellow believers, worshiping the One who loved her more than anything, or anybody, else. A great read, very encouraging, and highly recommended!
