This movie is full of adventure and whimsy that will cause you to feel scared, happy, and sick all at once. Siblings Peter and Judy find an old jungle-themed board game in their attic named Jumanji, which grabs their attention and makes them want to play. However, this releases Alan, a man who has been trapped in the game for years because he never won. In order to stop the game and release Alan, the two siblings must find a way to beat the game and survive a series of horrific events such as giant bugs, lions, monkeys, and more. This crazy and exciting film will leave you feeling shocked and excited all at once. Although a few of the special effects were disappointing and the directing was subpar, the story is still a 90’s classic and worth the watch. I would rate this film 3.5/5 stars and recommend it to those who love adventure and comedy. - @The_Reviewer of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library I like this movie so much. I have watched it 100 times or more over 3 years, but I don't mind watching it again. I like Robin Williams as an actor very much. He is so funny! I am pretty sure that everyone has watched this movie because it is so old, but it is still an interesting movie and appropriate for all ages. I liked the last scene. It was so funny when Jill's parents wanted to go skiing but Sarah and Allen shout no!! I give this movie 7/10. And I recommend it for everybody. - @rahmamawlood of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library A classic movie starring the legendary Robin WIlliams. This movie is a grand tale about a cursed board game come to life. A movie any real teen should watch, it is an amazing story that is a one-of-a kind concept. A dark fantasy, there are some parts that can be scary, but Williams' comedic efforts help to make the movie more light-hearted and fun.  - @PerpetuallySleeping of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library Jumanji is a film about a board game called Jumanji which is no ordinary board game. It all began with a boy named Alan Parrish and a girl named Sarah Whittle who unknowingly rolled the dice and began the game of Jumanji, which unfortunately has trapped Alan Parrish in the game. 26 years later, a new family moves into the same house in which Alan lived, and two children, Judy and Peter Shepherd roll the dice in the game of Jumanji and finally, Alan is released and now a completely grown man. Together, the three must finish the game but, they are missing one player, Sarah Whittle who is now a grown woman and completely terrified to play Jumanji but, with a little convincing she agrees and the four of them do their best to survive whatever the game throws at them and finish it.  Jumanji is filled with action and moments of laughter and I personally thought that this was a great movie and I would definitely recommend watching it even though it is somewhat old, and there is also a sequel coming up with Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson. Overall, I would rate Jumanji 4/5.  - @Grimvar of the Teen Review Board of the Hamilton Public Library
