This movie is my second favorite Avengers film (Endgame being my first). This was a great ending for Gamora's story arc, as opposed to Endgame, which turned the focus on Nebula.

Infinity War is epic. The fantastic fight sequences and visuals are really spectacular, and Thanos was great as the movie's villain. My main problem with this movie, however, is that there is no character development besides Thanos. They took all the characters from the modern MCU that already have had development in previous films and then placed them in the movie to keep this film, as well as the universe, running on. Of coarse, it's not at all easy to have complex characters in a film that has to fit dozens of them into it (each one won't get a whole lot a screen time), but the film really fails in this cruical area. However, the film exceeded greatly in that it had an epic story, amazing visuals, and a good villain with complex motives. If a Marvel movie had to get nominated in the 2019 oscars, it should have been this one and not Black Panther.

Thanos decided he didn’t like the overpopulation of the worlds so he decided to do something about it. No-one liked his decision so they all fought him. It was nice to have some dialog as a change of pace between the action bits. The wizard was trying to find out if the people he met were friend or foe so he asked ‘Who is your master?’ ‘Jesus?’ ‘Oh, you’re from Earth.’

This film is extremely ambitious and it succeeds amazingly well. It certainly has a plethora of characters and a multitude of storylines. For a novice to the Marvel universe, it might be a bit bewildering, but for everyone else it will be an astonishing thrill ride with a huge cast of beloved characters. I loved some of the unexpected meetings and partnerships between the characters. It was a lot of movie and plot to put into 2 1/2 hours, but the result is hugely entertaining and emotional. It definitely makes me very eager for Avengers: Endgame!

This was the best Marvel Movie I have ever seen. It is absolutely amazing. As a Marvel fan it has exceeded all my expectations for a Marvel Film. I loved the way they tied all the story lines together from all the previous movies. It was impressive how they had the characters all interacting together for a common goal of defeating Thanos The Mighty Titan. He was also the best villain I have ever seen in a Marvel movie. Overall I give it a 5 star because it was so interesting and entertaining to watch. The CGI was incredible. The soundtrack was great too. A must watch highly recommended watch. 5/5 Stars. @McRee of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board

I found this movie pretty entertaining, despite my disinterest in Marvel. Avengers Infinity War is about Iron Man, Hulk, and the other Avengers working together in an effort to stop the villain, Thanos. Thanos is trying to collect the six incredibly powerful Infinity Stones, as he plans to use them to kill half of the universe population. As a person who does not like Marvel, the movie has pros and cons for me. Some parts I did not understand well because of my lack of Marvel knowledge, and I found some characters like Vision boring as well. However, I loved the other characters, especially Thanos, Gamora, Iron Man and Spider-Man! To add, the CGI is near perfection and a visually beautiful movie to watch. All in all, I give this movie a 3/5. @curlyhairdontcare of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board

One of the most action-packed films of 2018! If you haven’t already watched it, you should definitely do so. So many Marvel characters were included, so it surely should be appealing to any viewer. It has a decent plot and a family-friendly atmosphere, therefore it’s for any kind of audience (yes, your 6 year old can watch it). I honestly enjoyed it and if you’re a devoted Marvel fan, you won’t be disappointed. But if you lean towards the more ‘picky side’, that’s when it’s slight flaws begin to rear their ugly heads. As much as the plot flows nicely, there are still some noticeable holes in the story. Another thing I’ll mention that really irked me was the numerous deaths in the movie- I mean, it felt as if Marvel was just trying to kill off as many characters so they can spend less money on the next movie they make. But then again, that’s just my opinion. Go ahead and give it a go! 3/5 Stars. @Bloop of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board

Infinity War is easily the biggest and best Avengers film I have seen. The film features so many characters, which include The Guardians of the Galaxy, the original avengers, Black Panther, Spiderman, Thanos and his goons, and many more. This was a great move by Marvel as it allowed for several small storylines to occur within the main plot, and the film’s dark situation and serious characters are complemented by some comic reliefs. Moreover, more characters equates to more action in the film. However, the downside of the movie is that the time allocated per character is naturally less, and so each person’s development through the film is minimal. To me, this is the major limiting factor in the film since it fails to explore the lives of the characters and show their progression. All in all, the film achieves its purpose of being entertaining and I would give it 4 stars.

Listen.
Listen.
LISTEN.
I won't post any spoilers, but holy guacamole mylanta! This movie broke me, built me back up again, destroyed my soul, refurbished it, and then destroyed me one more time. Marvel has literally mastered the concept of an emotional roller coaster. No need to go on a physical one - just watch this film and bask in the emotion wreck you will soon become.

Please, don't listen to anyone telling you you can watch this film without some of the other ones. I genuinely assure you that you need to watch every Avengers film that you can - otherwise, you are selling yourself short with the lore and the background, and the film won't be as emotionally destroying as it's supposed to be.

[the Guardians bring Thor aboard]

Peter Quill: How the hell is this dude still alive?

Drax: He is not a dude. You're a dude. This... this is a man. A handsome, muscular man.

Peter Quill: I'm muscular.

Rocket Raccoon: Who are you kidding, Quill? You're one sandwich away from fat.

Peter Quill: Yeah, right.

Drax: It's true. You have put on weight.

Peter Quill: What?

[Drax gestures at his chin and gut]

Peter Quill: Gamora, do you think I'm...

Mantis: [sensing Thor] He is anxious, angry, he feels tremendous loss and guilt.

Drax: It's like a pirate had a baby with an angel.

Peter Quill: Wow. This is a real wake-up call for me. Okay, I'm gonna get a Bowflex. I'm gonna commit. I'm gonna get some dumbbells.

Rocket Raccoon: You know you can't eat dumbbells, right?

Gamora: [touching Thor's arms] It's like his muscles are made of Chitauri metal fibers.

Peter Quill: Stop massaging his muscles.

Thanos is coming.
That's the message Doctor Strange and his assistant Wong hear from Hulk. And that's the message they pass on to Iron Man. Thanos, a greedy villain intent on capturing all six infinity stones (sources of immense power), is coming. He's been known to slaughter half the populations of various worlds and call it mercy. He's coming, and he wants the two infinity stones currently residing on Earth.
An epic battle commences, the struggle of a lifetime. Heroes unite to defeat this formidable foe… But formidable doesn't quite describe it. Unstoppable. Invincible. Indomitable. Thanos is coming, and he's more powerful than any man. Any superhero, for that matter. As heroes die and more rise up to take their place, one thought is flashing through everyone's minds—
Thanos has come.
He's come to destroy half of our world.
He's here, and we can't stop him.
