Only 2 seasons. Seems like a star-crossed project, didn’t get ratings or much other support (in my limited knowledge). >>>> A very serious show dressed up as a dramedy. Lead actor not charismatic. Lead writer/visionary not supported by rest of staff (how rare is that?—usually this cat would hire everybody else). In the golden age of (cable) tv how does this ‘classic’ kind of show fail? >>>> Maybe it’s this Bob Lowry. Maybe he’s not so ‘hollywood’ congenial and doesn’t get along w/EVERYBODY. Maybe he’s, as he says in a commentary, lazy (unlike ALL successful people who are very ambitious and A types). <<<< Very serious show. Get’s it on. Couldn’t possibly be following cable network notes. In fact, how in hell did this get on air at all; should still be in a drawer in mighty mighty westworld.
