I didn't enjoy this installment in the series nearly as much as the previous 2. For a book with 'murder' in the title it takes a really long time for the titular murder to happen. This book felt as though it was just treading water with too much uninteresting filler. I had the main plot points figured out way ahead of time and just had to wait and wait for Kate to catch up. I kept at it because I do really like the characters and wanted to see how they reacted to the revelations I knew were coming but it was a bit of a slog at times. I will be reading the next one and I hope that it is an improvement.
