Not a great movie, but much better and more enjoyable than I expected. Worth a watch! (although I kept noticing how quiet the streets of NYC were as they walked the sidewalks. In my experience, even late at night, the streets there are noisy with traffic.)

Entertainment is about all I can say about this movie.

Good directorial debut, but the plot focuses very much on Chris in rescue hero mode; female character is under-developed. NYC is great as a backdrop as they strategize how to undo a Goodbye letter.

It is nice to see Chris Evans in something other than the Marvel universe. I was surprised to learn that Chris also directed and produced the film.

I quite enjoyed this slow paced chick flick. I'm sure I would have enjoyed it even more had it had CC or subtitles - a lot of dialogue was washed out by background noises.

If you like your romance tinged with an edge of the bittersweet, you might like this story about two strangers who meet in Grand Central Station and spend the night walking around New York City, talking about their lives. He’s pining for an ex in town for a wedding; she’s struggling with a marriage that isn’t everything she hoped it would be. Nothing much happens, and some of the dialogue is a little clunky, but Chris Evans and Alice Eve share a charming, believable chemistry that carries the film, and the soundtrack will sweep you along.

A sweet story that required the patience and preserverance just as relationships in life do.

Two strangers meet one night shortly after one of them is robbed. They spend the evening trying to get enough money together for a cab and get to know each other in the process. The good news is that they don't just hop into bed together, although they are attracted to each other. The bad news is that they each talk each other into doing something truly stupid. She goes back to her serial cheater husband and he goes to tell his old girlfriend he's still in love with her. She's married, pregnant, and has zero interest in him. So the ending was depressing with nowhere to go but down.

I admit that I love this movie, even if it is a little slow for people. Sometimes I enjoy watching something with a slower pace (not all movies have to be all about action!). I'm also partial to it as I saw it when it debuted at TIFF and hearing how passionate Chris Evans was when he talked about it made me love it all the more.

Chris Evans did a great job on this film as actor & director.
