The Amish Clockmaker is a welcome change from the usual Amish books I've read (girl falls in love). This one is more of a mystery and I found it to be very engrossing.

A very nice story. Pictures the unconditional love of God for all of us.
It also pictures the human tendency to be gossipy and judgmental.
The largest portion of the book tells Clayton story, so it is a little hard to reconnect with the beginning character, Matthew, at the end of the story.
