This book made me weep. Right from the beginning with the quote from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., right until the end. I love this tale of Cornelius, and the truth at the end (the author explains that probably the real Cornelius didn't make a pyramid with trash bags). Cornelius in life and now in legend deserves his place as a hero, even before Katrina's devastation. And even without the legacy, this is just a great kids book- beautiful illustrations and story and rhythm.
