"Stone Barrington is back and better than ever in the astonishing new thriller from New York Times bestseller Stuart Woods. Stone Barrington has returned to Paris to attend to some business concerns, and finds himself embroiled in high-stakes trouble on both sides of the pond. An old enemy is still in hot pursuit, and this time he might have a powerful local resource on his side: a gentleman with his own ax to grind against Stone. And back in the United States, the swirling rumor mill threatens to derail a project of vital importance not just to Stone but to the nation. Though Stone is no stranger to peril, never before has he faced threats from so many directions at once"-- Provided by publisher.

I liked this Audiobook CD by Woods, Stuart. I like this author and his style. It is too violent and sexual for children to listen to. This is a murder mystery sleuthing story. The twists and turns in the story keep you interested. Dino is married to Vivian. Vivian has retired from the NYPD. Stone and his Hotel Business Partner, Marcel, are getting ready for an Opening Gala at the Paris, France new Errington Hotel. The Russian Mob want to force the hotel to be sold to them. The Russian's want to get even with Stone for killing one of their brothers. Mike Freeman, CIA, Paris law and Dino keep Stone and the hotel safe. It is non-stop adventure for Holly Barker and Stone. Holly is Stone's lover. A woman who is related to the Paris Police was also Stone's lover. Lance has an lover whom is a USA citizen living in Paris as an USA Ambassador. Vivian is at the hotel too. Just before this book started Anne has broken it off with Stone in USA. Anne was common-law with Stone. Anne is running Kate's election.

This was the most boring and trite of Stuart Woods stories. It was full of clich├ęs and mundane details. I wouldn't even give it one star.
