Loved this book! Ms. Childs really makes you feel like you're alongside Carmela in her attempt to solve a murder where one of the prime suspects is her soon-to-be ex husband, Shamus. Ms. Childs' description of New Orleans: the food, the location and even lingo really makes this book a pleasure to read :) This the first book of the series and I love it so much that I'm already on book four :):) I also forgot that there is a small of amount of swearing in the book...fyi
