Each member of the Walkers from Louisiana is given voice in this poignant picture of a family held together by drunkeness, abuse and ultimately overwhelming love. Their story is told with an unfailingly shrewd comic touch.

I have really enjoyed reading all the books about the Ya-Yas. I actually had to re-watch the "Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood" after reading Rebecca Wells other two books that preceed the movie. Great stories and the theme is sure carried throughout. Highly recommend all of Rebecca Wells books.

A happy, sad, prickly type of book that won't let you be until you've finished it and leaves you wanting more.

Good character development but we learn Vivi is a sex abuser.
