Worth seeing - perhaps seeing twice. Story about "losers" whose humanity makes them all "winners." Story, set in New Orleans, has some surprises. Excellent cast. Great music.
Colorful story and very interesting.
New Orleans looks uniquely beautiful. Very well made.
This is a story about 3 losers who discover that you don't need to be related to become a family. John Travolta & cast do a great job. I absolutely love the soundtrack to this movie. I had to hunt down a used copy of the CD and I play it all the time.
I will admit, I'm a bit of a movie snob, but I adored this movie. Scarlett Johansen is an excellent actor even before she hit the spotlight, and she captures the role perfectly. John Travolta is amazing as Bobby Long and Gabriel Macht is adorable not to mention a brilliant actor.
The plot is touching, and meaningful, the cinematography and music are captivating, as is New Orleans(where all of the movie is based). I would definetly recommend this movie. :)
