A particularly fascinating read if you like books set in the Central Texas region.

David Lindsey is a talented and wonderful mystery writer.

I first learned about his work at a program hosted by Humanities Texas at the Harry Ransom Research Center.

David Lindsey writes police procedurals having spend a great deal of time working side by side with real detectives as they investigated real crimes - crimes committed in Texas.

In this book, the characters are unique, the crime is unique, and the twists and turns in the story keep you reading.
