A great look into the Gettysburg address and all of the context before and after. The author covers the build up to the civil war and the foundations of government that eventually caused the split, all the way to a brief discussion of the development of the 60's civil rights movement. Its a quick overview so not a lot of depth, but that's not what this is going for. Recommended for anyone looking for a good history graphic or those who are interested in the civil war. It is quite wordy (not a complaint) so it will probably appeal to teen and up. It would be a great resource for a secondary level history class.
