I am a 43 yo mom of two girls, ages 5 and 7, and I absolutely love this whole series! I have been reading them to my daughters before bed at night, and all three of us want to stay up past their bedtime in order to read one more chapter. We just finished the 6th book in the series, and we will all be so sad when we have no more to read.

Abby's family just move from Chicago to tiny Smithville. In their new house Abby and her brother found a mirror on their basement wall and it magically slurped them into Snow whites fairytale. They had stopped the wicked witch from poisoning Snow white! Hooray, they're hero's! But then they realised that they had just ruined her story. If Snow White doesn't die, she won't get to meet her prince. And then she won't get her happy ending. So it's up to them to fix Snow whites story and get back home!

Once upon a time my life was normal.
Then the mirror in our basement ate us.
Do you think I’m joking? Do you think I’m making this up?
You do, don’t you?
You’re thinking, Um, Abby, mirrors don’t usually go ahead
and slurp people
up. Mirrors just hang on the wall and reflect
stuff.
Well, you’re wrong. So very WRONG.
