The safest way to travel is by air, the FAA says. But the FAA never figured the risk with Charles Rane on board. He's "The Rane of Terror", the insane mastermind behind four recent terrorist attacks. Soon there will be a fifth - and that's bad news for passengers on Flight 163. But there's good news, too: the man in seat 57!

"Always bet on black."
So it's "Die Hard," but on a plane! Wesley Snipes was born to play passenger 57 (I forgot his real name.). Look for a young Elizabeth Hurley. There was going to be a sequel, but "Passenger 57 2" just didn't work.

Decent action story about an ex secret service agent and security expert chanced to be on a plane about to be hijacked by terrorists. Film was released in 1992, well before 9-eleven.
