I couldn't get into this book. Took it back before I finished it.

This series can be uneven. Sometimes the protagonist can do too much cringing-that-her-husband-will-get-mad-she-is-investigating; however in this installment he is off-screen most of the time, so it's better. Agreed with 1673 that it can be hard to keep track of the characters in this one (even reading it pretty much straight through.) Enjoyable.

Just like the rest of the books in this series, I enjoyed this one. One warning, though. A lot of the characters also went by nicknames or used an alias, so a paper and pen are handy for trying to keep them all straight.
