Wow, this is one intelligently written book!

I wish it had been available about 10 years ago when I was in a serious job-related crisis, which I have never been able to fully overcome. I now recognize that I identified myself way too much with my job, which made matters much worse than they acutally were.

I can highly recommend this book to anyone experiencing an identity crisis of some sort, whether it is a job loss, a marriage breakdown, a midlife crisis, ..., you name it.

Such a good book. I experienced an unfair job loss and because I got a lot of my identity through work I was unsure of who I was. After reading this book I feel like I have more awareness of how to handle future job loss should it ever happen again and seek identity through my interests, relationships with family and friends, and be more aware of what makes me unique. I could not put this book down, read it in 2 days. Highly recommend it if you feel like your job defines a lot of your life or did at one point. It will talk you through how to change your thoughts about yourself guaranteed. -G.c.
