Nhat Hanh gently coaches the reader on how to live in a more mindful way. He shares some easy to learn mantras and practices, as well as basic Buddhist teachings. I'm convinced that if we all followed these teachings, the world would be a more peaceful and harmonious place.

Thich Nhat Hanh is such a beautiful person, it comes through crystal clear in his writing. Simple, direct and loving, that is how this Zen Buddhist writes. Hopefully potential readers won't let the Buddhism turn them away. The Buddhist doctrine is light and he balances it with Christian understandings, by drawing upon obvious parallels. Anyone interested in mindfulness will benefit from this devotional text.
