This was recommended to me as a read-aloud for the minions, and as an example of positive mothering and interaction. we liked the positivity, the creativity and joy Mrs. P-W constantly displays; it's good to see situations framed in a different way, approached in a way I would not be inclined to do them. It's making me consider. Don't now if I could apply her methods, but it makes me want to try.

My mom read this to me and my siblings when I was little. It's a fun, silly way to teach children good lessons. I highly suggest it to children who love wacky turns of events. It's a little like Nanny McFee, because she changes the way children think about situations.

Very good book for kids; I wouldn't go any lower than age 6 though. There are a lot of vocabulary words to explain, so be prepared for that. Happy reading! :)

Mrs. Piggle Wiggle is an expert on children. She lives with her pets in an upside-down house and her late husband was a pirate. She teaches children (and their parents) games and strategies to deal with difficult behavior- like being a picky eater, bickering, and cleaning one's room. Her strategies are ingenious and often hilarious. These are wonderful, humorous stories for children of any generation!
