Mr. Priestley had the advantage of being there. Mr. Priestley also had the disadvantage of being there. Not, in the end a very satisfactory book. Badly organized, self indulgent in style and tone. Priestley has some interesting observations and analysis of a very interesting time, but his book is marred by poor editing and a confusing and unhelpful structure.
