The Dalai Lama offers much in terms of wisdom and seeks to bring all humans to his level of profound understanding of what it takes to live a happy life and change the way everyone looks at the world. A great read for anyone who wishes to change their outlook on life and interact with people on a whole new level.

Great writing about cultivating compassion and positive emotioball state.

Some notes I jotted down:

Seek happiness
Cultivate that which brings joy and decrease stress

When thinking about things that make you anxious, use that opportunity to think about how to deal with the situation.

Use negative experiences to balance yourself and gain perspective. What knowledge can you gain?

Knowledge and education is important to making a change.

Gain perspective. Try to think the best of others and their motives. Try to understand their situations. We're all human first, and can all relate to each other through that lens.

Change occurs gradually, little by little. Learn, contemplate, plan, then take action.

Even Anger can be used to motivate change.

Don't worry
If your intentions are pure
If there is no solution

A really great book. Very common sense advice but it discusses behaviours we tend to overlook. A definite read for those wanting to improve their thought and behaviour patterns.
