Former FBI agent John Becker returns in Wiltse's most absorbing shocker yet. An inmate from a prison is sending Becker anonymous, coded messages. Decoding them, Becker agrees to meet the inmate--who then cuts a deal for his freedom with Becker's hated superior, Hatcher. But even Becker can't anticipate the kindof wily demon Hatcher has unwittingly unleashed.

Add a CommentThe character John Becker is somewhat similar to Lucas Davenport....with even a more "darker side". As much as I love all the Sandford novels....if limited i would prob choose David Wiltse depth stories, rough as they are. All of Wiltse's works are just great.
