This is a charming little book, full of interesting insights. I love it that he was able to use the Ernest Shepard drawings throughout, and not the ones from some third-rate animator whose characters look like they've had lobotomies.

A book about Daoism explained using examples from Winnie the Pooh.
4/5: This book is really charming! The first page had me hooked and I stayed for the wonderful wisdom of Daoism. For what it is, I think it's very well executed, as it…

For such a small book about Taoism and Pooh, it is filed with so much insight and meaning. I really enjoyed reading Hofff's ideas and explorations through the funny little world of pooh bear and the connections it has with taoism.

An easy read for anyone from about the age of ten, all the way up, especially those of us who love/d Winnie the Pooh stories. I read a chapter every day for a week or two, and hoomed and hommed on each idea. Explains the…
