Star Wars Revenge of the Sith is the last movie in the Star Wars prequel trilogy. The movie takes place three years after the Clone Wars. Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi is sent to kill General Grievous, the leader of the Separatist Army. Meanwhile, Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker becomes closer to Palpatine, the Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic and, secretly, a Sith Lord known as Darth Sidious. Their friendship threatens the Jedi Order, the Republic, and everything Annakin knows and loves. If you enjoyed the first two movies in the Star Wars prequel trilogy, or you want to know what happened right before Luke Skywalker were born, I would recommend watching the movie. Again, the movie is nothing but confusing and if you understand what characters are talking about, most of them argue completely different stand points than what they fought for in the previous movies. This movie is incredibly darker than the first two and I would not recommend it to a younger audience. However the final scenes of the movie will leave you on the edge of your seat. I would rate it two out of five stars.

Whether you like the prequels or not, you have to agree that the movie Revenge of the Sith is the best film of the three prequels. Director George Lucas did much better with this film then with the Phantom Menace or Attack of the Clones. Although he stilled used CGI to create the creatures and planets you see in the movie, a lot more work seemed to be put into the look of the movie. There was amazing action, incredible music and lots of emotion. Creating the film that shows how someone can go from man to machine, happy to sad, and light to dark is hard but I think Revenge of the Sith did a great job. Although the ending of the movie comes to a sad and dark end it completely sets the stage for the original trilogy. This movie will always be one of my favorites. 4.5/5

This film is the third and final film in the Star Wars prequel trilogy. It's also the best of the three. This film fully improves on all of the weak points of the previous 2 movies. It begins with a very exciting space battle that leads into a great fight scene, which is a perfect opening for the film, in contrast to the extremely slow openings to the previous 2 movies. The plot is always exciting through the whole movie, and constantly engages the viewers. The movie concludes with an amazingly emotional finale, and it fully connects the prequel trilogy with the original trilogy. 4/5

All Star Wars are not only really good but set the standards and kicked into existence what we now take for granted as to visual effects even for television. This particular movie is perhaps my least favorite. All of the sudden, out of nowhere: "Hey, after all your years of training, well, nevermind that, how about turning to the dark side?" After seeing it several times; there is a build up and there are reasons for turning to the dark side. Unfortunately, it just still isn't plausible. It is still good, and Darth Vader had to be explained.
The visuals of the movie, especially the large scale scenes are absolutely spectacular, but the plot, characters, development - in short, the whole of the drama - is downright childish and oversimple. Its also overfilled with fight scenes.
The best of the prequals, but Natalie Portman feels very wasted here.
plaine and simple best star wars movie ever! It is very sad but that makes it interesting, you have got to wach this movie! I would give it 5 stars.
Nothing to say about it except it was not as good as Star Wars Episode 2 "Attack of the Clones".
I liked this movie even though it's sad when Anakin falls to the dark side. It is also very essential to the last three star wars movies. It also makes you look forward to when Darth Vader kills Sidious in number six.
It seems to me that the older generations all say the same thing, "The original SWs were the best and the new ones were poorly acted". I definitely disagree!! Has anyone ever considered that without episodes 1, 2, and 3 you would not have such a colorful description of Anakin? I personally think that three was the best, and one of the most important, episodes yet. Fight scenes were good (except the Obi-one and General Grievous duel), especially the duel between Obi-one and Anakin. Ending might be scary for younger kids. Over all a great movie!
A great conclusion to a prequel trilogy that tried its best. It is darker due to Anakin's fall but growing up with these films, I must admit this movie by far surpasses the last two films!! There are flaws but it is an entertaining watch!! :)
this movie is a dark movie especially when darth vador was created. Its sad that the children were born and their parents were killed. Lei to one family and luke to another family never to meet till their were g rown.
But it was wonderful when they met and had each other to lean on. +
Like most people who have watched 'Star Wars" since the first film, i couldn't wait to see how Lord Vader came to be. The visual and audio effects were OFF THE HOOK!!! This movie is "Sound Freak" approved and should be watched on your HOMETHEATER!!!! What really blew my mind was the high definition look this movie has. On my Sony 36" Trinitron television, the visuals looked spectacular. Everything was chrystal clear and very sharp!!! I'll give this movie 4 stars. Excellent sound, excellent visuals, a good story, and very cool looking creatures and characters. A large pizza with pepperoni, sausages, ham, pineapples, and Arizona ice tea.
The star wars film is sort of dark, because of the transformation that Anakin takes to the dark side. It is a good movie.
