Ramona is such a timeless character. So much spunk and imagination, you can’t help but love her. A must read, at any age!
The things Ramona does are funny like when she pushed the "whitch" in the oven .
Ramona is hilarious and has lots of imagination. She keeps her Mother on her toes and annoys the heck out of her sister Beezus. A laugh out loud read that is sure to uplift your spirits and warm your heart.
I loved beezus and ramona because my mum read it when she was a girl and she loved it. I understand Ramona, so enjoy the books.
I loved this book as a kid. I think now reading it as an adult, this one feels more dated. I am not sure if kids relate as much to Beezus because she doesn't act like many of present-day eight or nine-year-olds (not sure what age she is). I think the emotions are still true and very important, just not always the thoughts and actions. Still worthwhile if you can keep your child's interest.
i remember when i was growing up that the first chapter book i read was Beezus and Ramona. this book is so funny and i still read it today. no other book comes close to this one. Beverly Cleary is an amazing author. Ramona defiantly reminds me of myself!!
This book is a lovely story about two sisters. Ramona ia always doing something and her sister needs to fix it or she needs to clean it up. I will very recomended this book to evevryone.
A lovely, uncomplicated book for Gr 1-4. It's very useful to be reminded that people used to live simpler lives. No en suite bath in the Quigley household, and no video games either. There's a strong message about the relationship between siblings which stands the test of time, and Beezus is an outstanding role model for older sisters everywhere.
